Musicals in London To See in 2018 With Your Companion

People book escorts for a number of reasons and some of those reasons are to simply enjoy a great date at a cinema or theatre and enjoy some elite company. A great date idea for you and your gorgeous companion could be to go to a theatre show and London is not in short supply of great shows to see. Let’s go through some of the upcoming shows in London this year that would be great to go see.

So in no particular order, let’s start with:

Aladdin – Booking Until Sept 2018 – Prince Edward Theatre

Aladdin is based on the 90’s animated film of the same name produced by Disney. The animated version is a children’s classic and many of us remember watching Alladin and his magic carpet, along with his monkey and genie friend who was brilliantly played by the late great Robin Williams. Aladdin follows the story of a young street-kid who falls in love with a woman who turns out to be a princess. In a bid to win her heart and save her from an evil guardian, Aladdin and his quirky gang of friends set out to find love and freedom in a refreshingly brilliant rags-to-riches tale as old as the Genie himself.

The Lion King – Booking until Sept 2018 – Lyceum Theatre

Another 90’s animated classic produced by Disney is Lion King. One of Disneys most beloved stories ever, Lion King follows the story of a young and eager king-to-be ‘Simba’ who soon realises the throne may cost him more than he bargained for. As Simba sets out on a spiritual journey to find himself, he’s overcome by tragedy, loss, friendship and triumph in a startling coming-of-age storyline. Catch this epic tale in theatres this year with your gorgeous companion and take an amazing trip down memory lane.

Wicked – Booking Until May 2019 – Apollo Victoria

Based on the classic children’s film Wizard of Oz, ‘Wicked’ follows and aims to tell the untold story of the Wicked Witch who is all too familiar to audiences through her time in the Wizard of Oz film. Often cited as the primary inspiration for which costumes, her iconic green face, long nose, black robes, scratchy voice and devilish smile all became trade-mark traits of a classic ‘witch’. Wicked has proven to be one of the most successful plays of recent times and for anyone who’s a fan of the original film, this is definitely something to watch and let’s be fair, who of us hasn’t seen the Wizard of Oz?

School of Rock – Booking Until Jan 2019 – New London Theatre

Based on the film of the same name released in 2004 School of Rock follows Duey Finn, a failed Guitarist/Singer played by Jack Black who poses as a school teacher and uses his newfound influence to teach the ways of rock music. The film has since garnered a cult following among music and movie fans and now for the first time School of Rock will be performed in theatres. A classroom full of quirky kids who don’t want to learn and a teacher who doesn’t want to teach, what’s the worst that could happen?
